The son of a career navy man, Skip moved about the country as a youth, but he has made Central Vermont his home for over 25 years. Skip obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Physical Education from Campbell College and a Masters Degree in Education from Virginia Tech. Skip moved to Vermont in the late 1970's where he began a long career in athletic administration at Vermont Technical College. Skip served as the director of athletics and coached numerous varsity sports before leaving the college in June of 2004.
Skip has always had an interest in real estate and building construction, especially since completing the majority of the interior finishing of his log home in Tunbridge where he currently lives with his wife and two young children. He is an outdoors person who enjoys skiing, biking and running, and he is an avid gardener and photographer. Skip is currently the middle school soccer coach at Tunbridge Central School.
